Sweden
Our group consisted of 5 students and one teacher which makes us the smallest group out of all the countries. Our names: Patrik, Daniel, Malin, Christian, Filip, and our teacher Jimmy.
Our subject in this project was water.
We learned a lot of things during these trips to all the other countries; how people live in different countries and about our different cultures overall.
In Italy we learned the history of gold panning and we were at Oropa (an old historic monestery up in the mountains, which nowadays is a museum, etc.).
In Poland we went to the Town Hall in Sceczin, and we made some tests on how polluted the woods had become, in a big ecological centre in Lipie.
In Ireland we had a guided tour in a water damming facility and also went to Newgrange (an old Celtic monument setting, built around 5000 years ago).
In Germany we saw wolves in a big Nature Park in Güstrow, and also looked at all the different creatures in the sea at the Ozeanium in Straalsund.
And when all the countries met in Sweden we went to an old fortess called Carlstens Fortest (which is situated on a island called Marstrand); House of the Sea (where we got a lecture on the sealife along the coast); and we also had a guided lecture at the Ekocentrum (close to our school), where we got to learn more about how alternative energy is a very good option for the future.
