About ITG
IT-Gymnasiet was founded during a period when it was clear that the modern society and the future labour market had been changed forever – Internet and unlimited IT-solutions of the future was setting the new agenda! Among super entrepreneurs and dot-com bubbles the demand was for a school who took the future seriously. Together with representatives from global IT-companies and politicians in charge in Kista it was agreed on how to best prepare today’s students for tomorrow’s challenges. The first school started in 1998.
Today IT-Gymnasiet is a part of AcadeMedia, one of Sweden’s top leading educational companies for private and public education. From preschool to university college, closer to 25 000 students at 70 schools in 30 cities take part in activities at AcadeMedia.
